My heart quilt and sleeping doodles...

I was finally able to get pictures of my current quilt project - Kviltstina's Valentine 2010 BOM (here). Yes, it's another orange project. I can only blame this one partially on the boys - but that's a long story I'll have to save for another time.
I just realized looking a the photo that I was a little directionally challenged when I set out the blocks this morning.

I started out with a fat quarter bundle (the plaids) and picked the floss colors from there. Here are each of the hearts:

It's been a great project to work on. I love the mix of stitchery and quilting - enough I haven't even minded the orange! I'm nearing completion on my web project, so am hoping to get to finish putting this top together this weekend! Whoohoo sewing time!

I also wanted to share a couple fun pictures of the twins. My partner and I both like to jog. If no one's napping, we all go together, the twins on either their bikes or the jogging stroller and the baby in his stroller. When the twins were tiny, this is how we often got them to nap.

Wow! That seems like a very long time ago!

The next picture is from yesterday. They usually provide a running commentary for my run - or at least interrupt it with an argument or two. So I was pleasantly surprised when I peeked in to find out why they were so quiet - and found my two babies!

Pretty funny to be so nostalgic when they're only 3 and a half! I'll be a blubberpot by the time they reach college-age!
