O Thank Cuteness! and SSCS finish

Anyone who reads this blog knows that I'm severely biased when it comes to my family. So, when Jake over at Generation Q asked quilters to chime in on the cuteness in their lives, I jumped at the chance to share my bias!

Like Jake, I had started to lose hope thet I'd ever get to be a mother. The reasons were different, but the result was much the same. As 40 started to loom, we looked at the two options left to us, IVF and adoption, and decided to pursue both. When our first IVF try failed, we committed to one more try while also filling out our adoption application. Imagine our shock and delight when our second attempt resulted in Doodles 1 and 2! Twenty-five months later, we welcomed Doodle #3! We still have an adoption application on hand and consider it occasionally. Maybe someday I'll have to change the title of my blog!

Here's a glimpse of the resulting daily cuteness I'm priviledged to:

And here's a glimpse of the angels that visit us each night:

We also have a home filled with furry cuteness:
This is only two-thirds of our furry cuteness, but the other third tends to land more on the grumpy side and would never be caught sitting with "the dog"... (and I don't have any pictures of her on this computer...)

One other cuteness I would like to share is my 'cute-t-pie'... with a lap-full of boys. (I think they're shouting 'Happy New Year' - at least those not caught up in the tv!)

And now you've seen the cuteness that fills my daily life. I hope your life is filled with as many, if not more blessings of cuteness! If you'd like to share, head over to Generation Q and join their linky list.

And now for my SSCS finish!
All that's left to do is pack it all in a box and mail it! Wohoo! I managed to get the gift and ornament done with enough time to also make the gift bag. Sharing the details and picture of the gift will have to wait until December 26th. Shhhh... it's a secret!
